What IS Note-A-Phi?
Note-A-Phi is a tool for managing all types of e-mail newsletters, e-mail
notification and response messages, and associated lists of e-mail addresses.
We originally designed Note-A-Phi for our own use in responding to
purchases of our software products by sending registration codes and shipping
notices. We also use it to send software update notifications and other news
items that our customers might be interested in.
We recognized that other people may find this program useful as well and
so Note-A-Phi v2 was born. Although it was originally designed as a
software developer tool, we expanded it to generically cover many different uses.
Note-A-Phi is designed to use your existing network or
ISP's outgoing SMTP server, and to do that in such a way that you will not run
into any sending limitations imposed by your ISP. Coupled with your existing
e-mail receiving capabilities, Note-A-Phi provides an end-to-end tool to handle
newsletters, tech support responses, product update notifications, low volume
product offers, purchase acknowledgements, system availability notices, and much
much more.
Customer Testimonial:
"Note-A-Phi is the perfect program for anyone or any company that sends
out email newsletters or messages. This program is so easy to learn, setup,
and use, that I was literally sending out emails five minutes after downloading
it. It's simple to import or add email addresses, maintain multiple email lists,
and create different messages (text or html). We researched dozens of programs,
most of which were much more expensive and had steep learning curves. We are
very happy with our decision and the customer service has been excellent. They
even added new features, based on our requests."

Normal Mode is, as the
name implies, where you will do most operations having to do with
the normal managing and sending of messages. Normal Mode is
where the program starts and it provides access to the target
e-mail addresses, SMTP servers and raw message editing. Messages
may only be sent from Normal Mode. |
 |
WYSIWYG Mode allows
you to edit HTML coded messages in a "What You See Is What You
Get" environment. The message editing box fills the entire
available window space. There are tools that will provide all
the basic HTML formatting capabilities including setting fonts,
font sizes and colors, font formatting and justification, tables,
horizontal lines, inserted images, and web links. The editor is
designed to give you the most often used functions for HTML
e-mail messages. Think of the WYSIWYG Mode editor as a layer on
top of the Normal Mode editor. |
 |
The About box is where
you find the program revision number, release date, and other
information. It is also where you can go to enable the software
with your registration code or check for online program updates. |
 |
The Hints and Tips box
provides access to quick help information. At the top right corner
of the text box is a pull-down button that will display a list of
all the Hints and Tips topics. Select any topic to jump right to
that hint. There are also "Previous" and "Next" buttons to allow
browsing the hints in order. |

Note-A-Phi is NOT a SPAM Tool
Note-A-Phi is NOT a mass e-mail marketing tool. Such tools usually rely
on an internal SMTP server that can send hundreds of e-mails per minute to
millions of addresses. We do not support the use of Note-A-Phi for SPAM, nor
was it designed to handle such uses. |
